Toughest Event

Toughest Events are active for 48 hours every weekend (Saturday to Sunday). A new Toughest Event is usually added once a month, unless a Fest Event happens that month.

Each Toughest Event usually feature 3 stages with increasing difficulty. Beating the first 2 stages will get you character medals of a special outfit character, and beating the last stage will give you EX Skill cards of that character. EX Skills increase the fever gauge faster when used. These rewards are exclusive to Toughest Events.

Each Toughest Event has their own list of Storm Characters (stats boosted by 100% or more), and Storm Faction (stats boosted by 20%). An accompanying gacha will have boosted rates for the SAs of the Storm Characters, and be available for a few weekends following the event’s launch.

Toughest Events are No-Continue; you will not be able to use Rainbow Coins to continue the stage if your party is wiped out.

Fest Event

Fest Events are the festivals of OPTS, and happen every quarter. A Fest Event usually lasts for 11-12 days, and comes with events that feature the medals and skill cards of 10 previously released characters, that mostly include the strongest characters of the time. These characters are also featured in the Gacha, often with guaranteed SA if you pull enough steps. The event will also come with various attractive rewards such as Faction cards, gold stat cards and rare evolve materials for beating difficult stages. Each event has its own set of quests so check the Fest Event post for details.

Storm Showdown

Storm Showdown takes place on the 10th of every month. It is a single-player mode where players set up a full party of 6 units to challenge a stage. The player only has control of Team A, while Team B and C are controlled by AI. This mode features waves of very high level new enemies, especially Soldiers in Black and Shield Soldiers, that require you to bring or ban certain elemental damage from your party.

As of an update in October 2017, players can choose to activate SAs and switch members for Team B and C. Clearing each stage will unlock the next. The stages are the same each month and your progress is saved. New stages are added infrequently.

Storm Showdown is currently the only way to earn Rubies, which are used to exchange for exclusive characters and their SAs, among other rewards. The Ruby Shop gets new items added to it infrequently.
